Luke 6-7

“Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.” Luke 7:6 (NIV)

Observation, Application, Prayer

Blessings and woes. Love for enemies. Judging others. A tree and its fruit. The wise and foolish builders.  Every paragraph in red highlight of holy shows me how far off I am. Lord, when I wanted to write about good measures, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing, well, this would not be one of those days. Thank you, God, for the centurion who could recognize authority and power two thousand years ago, who could remind me today in the lows that you have the power to heal anyone. Including me. Amen.
