The Israelites were told to permanently get rid of anyone that would lead them away from God. No wonder the Israelites wandered around in the desert for forty years. Once you lose focus it is easy to walk around in circles looking at all the wrong things, listening to whatever your itching ears want to hear.
I’m afraid I am very easily led astray. God hasn’t ask me to murder anyone, but I definitely feel a tug in my spirit to delete on-line friends who entice me away from my time with God. There is a part of me that does not want to get rid of my new buddies. They are a crazy bunch of ladies, a bit ribald, but they are fun and they make me laugh.
Yet I know in my heart that I need to refocus my attention on God. I can’t think straight with all those pretty pictures and sounds ping ponging around in my head.
Sorry. I love you guys, but the Lord chose me to be his treasured possession always. I am his and belong to no other. Chao.
