The shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about. So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. Luke 2:15-18
For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of people, a light for the revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people
This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be assigned that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. Luke 2:30-32,34-35

Everybody Luke talked about in his gospel put feet to their faith when they met Jesus. It’s time I got back on track with the race marked out for me.
Lord, please forgive me for wasting the precious time you have blessed me with. Keep me from playing with wood, stubble and hay and the fire that would consume the things that don’t last. Get me jogging toward heavenly streets of gold carrying in my heart the treasure of salvation through Jesus Christ in this body of mine that is nothing more than a jar of clay.
