In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit. Judges 17:6
Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. Mark 16:14

Doing what we see fit versus doing the will of God.
Refusal to believe versus putting faith in the power of God.
Practicing religion versus loving God with all your heart.
Everybody can relate to faith shrinking under the fear created by uncontrollable circumstances. Yet in the midst of suffering and chaos people who have God in their heart do the things listed in Hebrews 11 and say things like:
Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” Job 2:10
I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. Job 19:25
God himself will provide. Genesis 22:8
But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me. 2Samuel 12:23
We can not help speaking about what we have seen and heard. Acts 4:20
Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 21:13
The Lord’s will be done. Acts 21:14
Don’t do as you see fit. Fit into how God sees you.
