The names of God are many. Here are a few.

I often wonder why there are so many. Is it because there are so many different types of people that God needed to represent his Name in a meaningful way to all of them? I’m not sure if that’s it. Could it be because He couldn’t make up His mind what to call Himself – certainly not – that’s just silly. I think it has to do with Him wanting us to see His Glory represented in as much as he could. He wanted us to see his vastness represented in the simple Name – I AM. He is all eternity – He is Glory – He is Majesty – He is The Great I AM.
Thank you God for allowing me to see, to hear, to know your Name. Thank you for letting me grasp, even just a little bit, of your eternal and everlasting love. In your glorious Name I pray! Amen.
