Psalm 64, 70; John 6:1-21

“It is I; do not be afraid.” John 6:20 b NKJV

Sometimes in the midst of circumstances, both good and bad, we miss God.  He is always there, working for our good.  There was a lot of great things in these passages, but I honestly couldn’t get this verse out of my mind.  So instead of trying to get past it, I thought maybe we could just rest on it.  Think about how He moves in your life.  I found a few songs that I felt would help.

  1. Fear of any kind hinders us from listening to the Spirit. I often find myself, not fearing being in God’s presence, but fearing that He has abandoned me. Old baggage, I know, but really a barrier to finding that peace. So I lay it all down, again and again. Lord, help me to accept by faith that You are present in my life always and that I am the apple of Your eye. You will do me good all the days of my life. Thank You, thank You, thank You!

John 1:12-13 I get goose bumps whenever I read this. I AM A CHILD OF GOD. He is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joshua 1:9 He is with us wherever we go. Is. 41:13 He takes hold of our right hand and says do not fear I will help you!!!!!!!!!!!!! He takes care of us each and every day. Praise God.

  3. What a lovely idea. Camping on a single truth about God is always a refreshing change from the barrage of information in our everyday lives. Thank you for the refreshing breeze.
