Isaiah 28,29; Romans 1

As I put my four year old son to bed last night he prayed this prayer, “Dear God, Thank you that You control the skys, that You keep me safe and that You love me forever, forever and forever!” I sat there in awe how God was using him to teach me about faith. Simple belief. Simple faith that God is in control…Faith like a child…What does that mean? Fearless, hopeful, expectant, comfort, love, security…Can I push past my own cobwebs of burdens, fears, dissapointments, failures and insecurities to live a life of child-like faith?

Am I really living the life of faith that God has called me to live? Faith that brings life?…

This Good News tells us how God makes us right in His sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”Romans 1:17nlt

I think about how I can overcomplicate my prayers. I get weighed down by my own sin. The awareness of it can get in the way of truly opening up myself to a God who loves me, who made me…

How foolish can you be? He is the Potter, and He is certainly greater than you, the clay! Should the created thing say of the one who made it, “He didn’t make me?” Does a jar ever say, “The potter who made me is stupid”? Isaiah 29:16 nlt

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-how well I know it…”Psalm 139 nlt

Thank you Father for your Mercy and kindness. Through redemption, I am now righteous in your sight. I pray that Your love for me would overflow to others in a life of faith.“A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better than they ever dreamed of.”” John 10:10 MSG
