I ran into an old friend the other day and found hidden feelings coming to the surface… hurts, unresolved issues that were getting in the way of loving her and expecting nothing in return…
I was convicted about…
How am I responding? Am I responding in love? With humility and grace?
A song came to mind called, Forever Reign...the words are the cry of my heart…“ I run into your arms, the riches of your love will always be enough, nothing compares to your embrace, light of the world, forever reign…my heart will sing, no other name Jesus.”
I want Jesus to fill my heart completely, so that I can pour out what I have received from Him onto others. A love that extends grace and is extravagant, the same that was shown to me…
“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
Thank you Jesus for your extravagant love, Eph 5:1-2MSG. A love that drives out all my fears because of your unfailing love for me…“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” 1 John 4:18ESV. I want to love people in a genuine way...“Love from the center of who you are, don’t fake it…”Romans 12:9MSG…and “love you with all my heart, soul, and might.” Deut 6:5ESV …

- V ibrant, extravagant love…
- E mbracing others, knowing that You fully embrace me….Amen
