Gen 9,10; Ezra 9; Matt 9, Acts 9

I grew up hearing the story of Noah and the Ark. And I have never lost that wonder over a rainbow. When I see one I remember God’s promises. But, it is not just a way for me to remember, God says that it is there for Him to remember His covenant…it is a personal message from Him to me. He is remembering me…I’ll remember my covenant between me and you and everything living…When the rainbow appears in the cloud , I’ll see it and remember the eternal covenant between God and everything living, every last living creature on Earth.”Gen 9:15&16 MSG

Though, I think of how easy it is for me to forget what God has done in my life…even after I see a wondrous sign like a rainbow…There are times when my prayer sounds more like, “I believe. Help my unbelief!”…

Become what you believe. It happened. They saw.” Matt 9:28-29MSG

How am I becoming more like Jesus?

He says He never forgets me…“Even as a slave God didn’t abandon us.” Ezra 9:8-9 MSG

So Ananias went and found the house, placed his hands on blind Saul, and said, “Brother Saul, the Master sent me, the same Jesus you saw on your way here. He sent me so you could see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” No sooner were the words out of his mouth than something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes – he could see again!”…“They were permeated with a deep sense of reverence for God. The Holy Spirit was with them, strengthening them.” Acts 9:17-19 &31 MSG

Thank you Father that You are always with me.  That your promises are the same, yesterday, today & forever.  I want to become more like You in this new year. Amen

  1. Kathy

Some days it’s good to just sit and let these truths sink in. Thanks.

  2. I believe. Help my unbelief. That is a prayer I pray more often than I would like, but He is faithful even when we are not. What a relief our God is.

  3. I was soaking it in too, Kathy:)
    Amen, Reggie!

  4. Testimonials from Scripture give me goosebumps! Delightful and so uplifting.
