What keeps me from moving forward?
There was a time when I felt burdened from the bondage of past emotional/anxiety/fear issues. The more free I became, the more I saw how stuck I had been. I was having memories of how really far into that pit I sank, and how much my mind wondered from the truth. But, instead of being fully free, those thoughts of where I had been were weighing me down. I found myself being stuck in the regret of how far I sank and it was paralyzing me from moving forward. I had forgotten what the Lord says of me. That I am His beloved, redeemed, transformed and I belong to Him…
“…Then have the Levites stand in front of Aaron and his sons, and raise your hands and present them as a special offering to the Lord. In this way, you will set the Levites apart from the rest of the people of Israel, and the Levites will belong to me.” Numbers 8:13-14
I am thankful that the Lord fights for me…
“We didn’t fight for this land, We didn’t work for it – it was a gift! You gave it, smiling as you gave it, delighting as you gave it…All day we parade God’s praise – we thank you by name over and over!” Ps 44:2-3 & 8MSG

How quickly my praises can turn to forgetfulness…
“Get up, God! Are you going to sleep all day? Wake up! Don’t you care what happens to us? Help us!”Ps 44:23-26 MSG

Than I remember God’s power, provision, and how He pulled me out of the pit…
“But there’s so much more. Let’s get on with it! God doesn’t miss anything…Don’t drag your feet.”Heb 6:3,9,12 MSG
“And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding.” Heb 6:3 NLT
Dear Jesus, Help me to move forward, and not hide, shining my light forward in a way that leads others to You. Amen
