Numbers 24; Psalm 66,67; Isaiah 14; 1 Peter 2

Decree of a man who hears God speak, who sees what The Strong God shows him, Who falls on his face in worship, who sees what’s really going on.” Numbers 24:4 MSG

Seeing God work in my life, hearing Him…what happens when I can’t? Still, He hears me, He sees me….

Didn’t He set us on the road to life? Didn’t He keep us out of the ditch? He trained us first, passed us like silver through refining fires…Blessed be God; He didn’t turn a deaf ear, He stayed with me, loyal in His love.” Psalm 66 MSG

Can others see Him in me?

God, mark us with grace and blessing! Smile! The whole country will see how you work…You mark us with blessing…you mark us with blessing.” Psalm 67

You have marked me with Your blessing…I am Yours…CHOSEN…I kept seeing the verses in 1 Peter 2, everywhere I looked. What was He trying to tell me? Was I listening? Sometimes I want to be asked to do something, chosen. Than it hits me when God says, You have already been chosen…I CHOSE YOU. Even when things are messy and parts of your story that you don’t like. I have asked you to tell the story of how you were brought out of darkness into the glorious light.(1 Peter 2)

But, you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling-from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted…This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into…the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came His way, so you would know that it could be done, and also how to do it, step-by-step….His wounds became Your healing. You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you’re named and kept for good by the shepherd of your souls.”1 Peter 2 MSG

Jesus, thank you that You see and hear me, even when I can’t see You. That You are with me always. I praise You for who You are. I pray that my life would reflect Your glory. Amen

  1. Amy, thank you for reminding me what worship truly is – the song in response to the Father heart of God; we are His, and He loves us; oh, how He loves us!
