I have a friend who moved to the US from Africa 5 yrs ago. She left her family behind and came with her husband and four children. Her husband has since left & she is now alone raising four girls by herself in a country that she is still getting familiar with. She doesn’t have a car, but I have never heard her complain. Instead, she proclaims His goodness whenever she can. She just recently found out that someone is giving her a car! She is over-joyed by how God has provided for her. He is taking care of her. She can’t stop praising Him, not just for giving her the car, but for being her everything. One day when I was struggling I told her I was thankful that God put her in my life. She replied , “Yes, He is faithful!! One thing I am struggling with is I don’t think I thank Him enough!? He is too good!”
Do I struggle over that I don’t thank Him enough? Not just over what He has done, but for who He is?

Dear Jesus, Thank you for those reminders that you send me at just the right time. Please forgive me for when I become complacent and forget all that You are and what You have done in my life. “You know the depths of my heart and You love me the same, You are amazing God.” Amen.
