Leviticus 6; Psalm 5; Psalm 6; Proverbs 21; Colossians 4

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice;
let them ever sing for joy,
and spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may exult in you.
12 For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover him with favor as with a shield. Proverbs 5:11-12 ESV

O Lord, help me experience the peace of refuge in You. Let me huddle under Your protecting wings and be held in Your blessing. I often pray  that You would surround us with favor as with a shield. Let Your favor be our protective, blessed barrier and covering, O Lord.

 The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord;
he turns it wherever he will.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the heart.
To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Proverbs 21 1-3 ESV

Precious treasure and oil are in a wise man’s dwelling,
but a foolish man devours it.
21 Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness
will find life, righteousness, and honor. Proverbs 21:20,21 ESV

The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but the victory belongs to the Lord. Proverbs 21:31 ESV

Life wisdom in Proverbs, speaking to my heart. Who are You, O my God, who holds the heart of Kings in Your Hand? Turning at Your will.

Help me to build my dwelling as the wise and let there be all preciousness within, from You. The pursuit of righteousness and kindness is the direction I long to seek.

When we stand prepared, ready, and full of strength before You, it is still all to You, and all for You. Victory from and for You, O God.

 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. Colossians 4: 2-6 ESV

Steadfast prayer. Watchfulness. Thanksgiving. Wisdom from above that makes the best use of time. Salty and Gracious.

O Lord, draw my heart close to You that Your life-giving Word may transform my heart. Help me to put your Words into action in my life that I might be a true doer of the Word and experience the refreshment of Your Grace and Power. Help me build a dwelling filled with what You treasure. Let there be life, righteousness, and honor. May I be salty and gracious through You!
