Proverbs 22-23; Psalms 117; 1 Thesalonians 1

The shortest chapter of the Bible is a call to praise.

Praise the Lord, all nations; Laud Him, all peoples!  For His loving kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord is everlasting.  Praise the Lord!” (Psalms 117 ESV)

Paul gives thanks to God in is letter to the Thesalonians.

We give thanks to God always for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers; constantly bearing in mind your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope  in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father, knowing, brethren beloved by God, His choice of you.” (I Thesalonians 1:2-4 ESV)

And then some words that refer to using wisdom and praise in our speech.

“My son, if your heart is wise, my own heart will also be glad; and my inmost being will rejoice when your lips speak what is right.” (Proverbs 23:15-16 ESV)

Let us all lead a life focused on praise to the One who deserves it all!  Amen!

Kellie
