Isaiah 14-16 and Matthew 28

The Great Commission is given to us by Jesus.

“And Jesus said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV)

It is a four part task.

• Go
• Make disciples of all nations
• Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
• Teach them to observe all He has commanded us

With His help, it can be done.  He is always with us.

1. Go out into your world and be wiling to talk to people.
2. Tell them about Jesus so they can believe too.
3. Once they believe, tell them to profess their faith with baptism.
4. Make sure they have a Bible and are involved in a Bible-believing church so they can grow.

Lord,

Help us to go out into the world and tell others about you as it is the job you have given us to do.
