“So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, to the sound of the horn, trumpets, and cymbals, and made loud music on harps and lyres.” (1 Chronicles 15:28 ESV) Isn’t that how we are to worship God? We are to express our love for Him through music, our emotions, our heartfelt thanks. We shouldn’t be ashamed to let others know who we feel.
“But someone will say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith BY my works.” (James 2:18 ESV) Another way we show other whom we love is by how we act and what we do. It is fine and good to tell someone you are a Christian, but if you don’t live like it, it is not believable. Show a non-believer Christ’s love by what you stand for and how you treat people.
“Behold, the days are coming,’ declares the Lord, when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it. I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, ,and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,’ says the Lord your God.” (Amos 9: 13-15 ESV) One day God will make all things new. Our faith will become sight. It will be much easier to live what we believe to be true.
“But He said to them, ‘I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.'” (Luke 4:43 ESV) Jesus was here to teach the good news about God’s redemption plan while He was here. That is our job until He returns as well. He gave us the great commission to tell others until He comes back to take us Home.

Help us all to live our lives in such a way that the world can tell that we belong to You.
