2Chronicles 9; Jude 1; Zephaniah 1; Luke 23

There are times we read God’s Word and a verse or two just is too awesome to pass by quickly. Jude (half brother of Jesus) writes such verses in his short letter. He ends his note with a doxology that many of us may even have memorized.

It promises a blessed hope to those of us who are in Jesus. Someday we will be presented to God the Father without fault and with great joy. When think of the junk you worked through this year or this week even it can be hard to keep our focus on that future appointment we have when Jesus presents us to the Father. It is too glorious to comprehend. Read Jude’s doxology slowly… What stands out to you?

24 To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

Jude 1:24&25 NIV

Who does Jesus present us to? He presents us to the one Saviour who is all glorious, majestic and powerful. And this God the Father is eternal and we will live forever with him. What a great hope we have. So no matter what kind of gunk we are going through right now Jesus promises us an awesome future with the Father.

I’m including a picture of our Christmas Tree. We got it up just last week. When we are thinking of this time of year I wonder will there be Christmas Trees in heaven. The celebration of the plan of salvation that goes on forever. Will you be there? Trust in Jesus and He will present you to this Eternal Father that loves us from time before into eternity.
