Zechariah 1, Zechariah 2, Zechariah 3, Zechariah 4, 3 John 1

Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Return to Me,” says the LORD of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts. “Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.”’ Zechariah 1:3-4

For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 3 John 1:3-4

Zechariah 1                 The Angel of the Lord answered “I am zealous for Jerusalem” v.14

I am so grateful Lord that You are zealous and jealous (1) FOR Your people. I am one of Your people because of Your Son’s, the Lord Jesus Christ, Atonement. (2)

Righteous and merciful is Your Word my Lord God! (3) You are Accurate in Your warning to me. You urge me because You want to relent on the judgment which is due because of my selfish or man pleasing thoughts, words, actions and attitudes! You command me to repent and live for You so I do not to waste my words, actions or any part of me – and instead use all of me under You – Who IS Authority. (4) Thank You for Your Mercy in speaking with me!! While there is no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus, You created me to honor and worship You with my life. (5)

Lord God, I fear You because You are Great. You communicate boldly:

Zechariah 2              – Then I raised my eyes and said, “Where are you going?” – “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length. – ‘For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’” – For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

Zechariah 3              –  Then he showed me – the Angel of the Lord and Satan standing at His right hand to oppose Him. And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord Who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire? – “Says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.”  (6)

Zechariah 4              –  Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” Says the Lord of hosts. – he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”  (7)

You speak for my benefit! You place a protective wall around me, who fears You. I am the apple of Your eye. You rebuke my accusers (8). You took all of my iniquity away in one day! The day I accepted the crucifixion of Jesus Christ for myself! Whom then should I fear? (9) No one by You. All-Loving God, You did it by Your Holy Spirit, not by any of my works. You are my Foundation and very sure reward! I am no different than any other person born again by the Blood of Jesus! Lord God be praised!! And there are multitudes of us presently on the earth! You protect our very souls, mind and spirit until we meet you in Heaven! (10)

But not so for the other multitudes who refute You, ignore You, and despise You with their hearts, minds and lives. I, too, was Your enemy before You changed me. (11)

For those who do not repent (Zechariah 1:3-4) Zechariah 1-4 says:

“Your fathers, where are they? Yet surely My words and My statutes, Which I commanded My servants the prophets, Did they not overtake your fathers?” “So they returned and said: ‘Just as the Lord of hosts determined to do to us, According to our ways and according to our deeds, So He has dealt with us.’” (12)

I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease; – For I was a little angry, And they helped—but with evil intent.”

“Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. And I said, “What are these coming to do?” – So he said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head; but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.” – For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you – For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.”

No one can escape Your view or Your Hand, Lord God. We each must give an account to You. (13)

“They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.” Zechariah 4:10

God my Father, when I consider the current news, national and international, the cultures’ patterns and people’s words which defy Your Word, it awakens me to the pervasive, destructive, degrading, perverted and sickening effect of sin from each individual onto all others. Worldwide every kind of crime is enacted within the ‘gangs’ of bullies; whether they are a part of a corrupt government, company or within organizations of all types, and even within families. It can be overwhelming and make me feel sick inside. Yet Your Word stands firm, It never changes and it Will accomplish all that You say! (14)

3 John 1        For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. (v.3-4,11)

Yet I rejoice and am grateful, relieved and strengthened by the sharp contrast of the words and actions of Your numerous followers, Lord Jesus! Everywhere, in the midst of rebellious families, wayward organizations and deceptive companies and governments – Your people stand Firm and Bright. Oh what Glory You receive! Please continue to faithfully, lavishly pour out Your Zechariah 1-4 blessings on them since they incur intense rejection and pain due to their faithfulness to You, Lord Jesus Christ. Their perpetrators do not know that it is really You, Lord Jesus, Who they are disdaining. (15)

No one can have the last word but You Omnipotent God! No one can out last You Ever! satan and his demons are powerless against You. They know You and shudder (James 2:19) in fear! Lord God, please send workers into the harvest field, pour out Your Holy Spirit to soften and regenerate those who are heading to hell so they will repent to You and not suffer eternal torment. Lord Jesus, Magnify and Glorify Yourself over the whole earth! (16)

Psalm 48, Psalm 49, Psalm 50, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34

God says: Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver. Psalm 50:22

For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. 1 Cor 11:31-32

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:22-23

Please Read – www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ps%2048,49,50;%201Cor11:17-34&version=NKJV

For if we would judge ourselves”. To judge myself means to examine my self, thoughts, actions, motives and words with the Bible. I must ponder the Law of God while asking and applying the Holy Spirit’s wisdom. I must discern if, where and how I have gone against the Holy God. If I examine myself and am honest, being without compromise, excuse, rationalization or blame of others, then God will make clear to me my faults and show me the Way out for His honor and glory. After I confess, agreeing with God about my sin, and turn away from it then Jesus cleans me. 1

If I do not examine myself and I have sin, I remain unworthy of communion and I cause God’s judgment upon myself. If I do not confess and repent of my sins, then I WILL BE chastened by the Lord. Jesus does this so that I will stop continuing my sins. If I stop my rebellion against God, I will not be condemned with the world. 2

Lord Jesus Christ, when my joy of You, Lord, is not full, I am sure there is something lurking within me. Please eradicate it. Take it out. Have me see, confess and repent of it, for Your cleansing, healing and fulfillment of Your good and perfect will in my life. Amen!  3

According to Your name, O God, So is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness. … For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death. Psalm 48

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for setting me Free! I praise You because of Who You Are!! The Great ‘I AM’ ! Glorify Yourself through my life. Number my steps according to Your Holy Will. Thank You for showing me mercy and giving me salvation through your unblemished Son of God, the Lamb of God, Lord Jesus Christ. 4

Why should I fear in the days of evil, When the iniquity at my heels surrounds me? My mouth shall speak wisdom, And the meditation of my heart shall give understanding…  God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Psalm 49

Lord, Your Word has shown me that the days are evil. I praise You for teaching me and encouraging me to work out my salvation with fear and trembling so that You, Lord God will work in me to both to will and to do for Your good pleasure. You hide me within Your Priestly garments where I am safe and secure, peeking out to do Your bidding, hopefully as You command. I rejoice to be just Your child! 5

Lord God Almighty, the fields are ripe for harvest! Please send out Your workers to sow and reap for the salvation of souls, mightily Glorifying You! I love You – please have Your children love them with Your heart!  6

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:22-23

I cry out to my God: I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34

Numbers 17, Numbers 18, Numbers 19, Mark 15:1-25

Read at –   http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Numbers%2017,18,19;%20Mk%2015:1-25&version=NKJV

Numbers 17:5          It shall be that the rod of the man whom I choose will blossom; thus I will rid Myself of the complaints of the children of Israel, which they make  … behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds. … , “Bring Aaron’s rod back before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put their complaints away from Me, lest they die.”

The Sin of Complaining is so serious that God had to physically demonstrate to His people that He deemed to “put their complaints away from Me, lest they die.” God calls those who complain “rebels”.

Am I living in rebellion against God? Hhhhhmmmmm…… NO wonder I need the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ!!

How many thoughtless complaints do I think or mutter about the temporal without a thought to the eternal repercussions? Who is listening to me? Why do I put forth such effort when God gives me His remedy for my healthy psychology and productive spiritual life? Philippians 4:4-9, 19-20

Numbers 18             The Lord said to Aaron: “You …shall bear the iniquity related to the sanctuary, and … associated with your priesthood.  …  I am your portion and your inheritance.”

Numbers 19  a red heifer without blemish, …  it is for purifying from sin.

“For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy.” The Lord God Almighty instructed the priesthood regarding removing iniquities and giving them the highest reward, Himself for their portion and inheritance.

Leviticus 11:44-45; Leviticus 19:2; Leviticus 20:7; Numbers 15:40

God does not change and neither does His Word. Malachi 3:6, Matthew 24:35

Lord, these days I find myself praying harder and deeper than ever before. It seems that as I breathe, I grieve. I don’t know what You are doing in the heavenlies or what is going to happen here on earth, but the sin is escalating, the venom of people against You in governments is increasing, Oh…. You have me praying in ways I don’t even know. Thank You for not having me complain, for that does NO GOOD. In fact, when I have done that, I promote the problem instead of praying Your Word for Your purposeful, effective change for Your glory alone!

Please move the hearts of Your people to pray without ceasing, to storm Your Throne, going to our Royal High Priest Jesus to change the spiritual climate, to make us holy as You are holy, to be fruitful in the Holy Spirit now and until You return.

I am sick inside. The pain moves me to be surrendered to serve You wherever You place me. Please Lord Jesus, send many of Your workers. Convict us who are called by Your Name to confess You, Jesus, as Lord, to repent, to worship You and testify of You, the only Sovereign God.

Romans 8:28; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Romans 12:1-2; Proverbs 9:10

Mark 15:1-25                        Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered and said to him, “It is as you say.” … “What then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?” So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!” … Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.

This Jesus is our High Priest Who took upon Himself the sins of the people away from the Lord God Almighty, and purified us who believe and live surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

I praise and thank you Lord Jesus Christ for Your courageous victory over sin and death out of immeasurable love for me! Please continue changing me more into Your image so many people will see You, and then surrender, love, obey and worship You now and forever! I yearn to see Your Glory here on earth as it is in Heaven!! Magnify Yourself through Your children Lord Jesus! Amen!!

John 1:29; 1 John 2:2; Romans 1:20; Romans 5:8-21; Hebrews 2:17; Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews 5:5-6; Hebrews 7:20-28; Hebrews 8:1-6; Hebrews 9:23-28; Hebrews 10:19-23; 1 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:4-6

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

2 Kings 10, 2 Kings 11, 2 Timothy 1, Hosea 2, Psalm 119:97-120

Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. 2 Kings 10:16

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. Psalm 119:97

Our Savior Jesus Christ, Who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 2 Timothy 1:10

Read at: www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Kings%2010,%202%20Kings%2011,%202%20Timothy%201,%20Hosea%202,%20Psalm%20119:97-120&version=NKJV

How can I live without the Presence of God? All five readings demonstrate and prove the intrinsic value and joyous quality of life when life is lived adhering to the Word of God! Woe to those, including me, who do NOT honor the living Lord God Almighty fully and instead worship, even slightly, anyone/thing else!! They suffer daily, and without repentance and surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ shall perish after this brief life. (James 4:7; John 10:30; John 14:6; John 3:3-5, John 3:16-21, Matthew 18:1-5; Acts 4:10-12, Matthew 5:22, Matthew 10:28, Revelation 21:6-8)

2 Kings 10                Just prior to these scenes, the LORD says to Jehu: “I have anointed you king over Israel.” 2 Kings 9:3

Jehu responds emphatically by wiping out all of his potential adversaries. Jehu states his motivation: “Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD.” v.16  Jehu has Ahab’s 70 sons (v.1-11), 42 brothers of Ahaziah, king of Judah(v.12-14), and the rest of Ahab’s family (v.15-17) all killed.

What enemies are in my midst? What strongholds, blind spots, hidden thoughts, patterns and ways which defy the LORD and are lurking to take the throne of the Lord Jesus Christ within my heart? Not people, but my own allegiances which are against the Word of God? I must hold each of these to the Truth Mirror of the Bible. 2 Corinthians 10:5

Then Jehu states deceptively, “I have a great sacrifice for Baal.” Jehu gathers all the Baal priests and worshippers together for “a solemn assembly for Baal. … and all …came” Then Jehu orders: “Go in and kill them; let no one come out!” Furthermore, “they broke down the sacred pillar of Baal, and tore down the temple of Baal and made it a refuse dump … Thus Jehu destroyed Baal from Israel.”  (v.18-28)

What do I worship? Spending time with whom? Doing what? Buying, selling, ingesting, imbibing, drugging, watching, listening, wasting time, … Are there idols, images or thoughts which are Not Christ centered or Biblical? Am I valuing my own pleasures, desires or a prideful self-image? Break those temples Lord Jesus! Reveal to me the revelry in my own heart and break my heart for what breaks Yours! I give you full reign over my heart, eyes, hands and will. Psalm 51

Jehu did a fabulous job of rooting out all the “sickness” which was against the Holy God. God noticed (as always!), “the LORD said to Jehu, “Because you have done well in doing what is right in My sight, and have done to the house of Ahab all that was in My heart, your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” v.30

My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words. Psalm 119:139, Numbers 25:13, Psalm 69:9, John 2:17

2 Kings 11                Meanwhile in Judah, after Ahaziah dies, his mother “arose and destroyed all the royal heirs.” v.1 But God’s remnant remained! A grandson, Joash, is hidden “in the house of the LORD for six years” while the queen mother harshly rules Judah.  “In the seventh year Jehoiada,” the LORD’s priest, “brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him, and gave him the Testimony” When the queen found out, she “tore her clothes and cried out, “Treason! Treason!” and was swiftly killed.

To what do I cry “Treason! Treason!”? What crosses my line of sensibilities? What raises my hackles? Do I yell it in rebuff when someone wants me to stop being self indulgent? Do I yell it when others are involved in wrong around me? Treason to whom? To myself, my family, my culture or to my King?

“Then Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD, the king, and the people, that they should be the LORD’s people, … went to the temple of Baal, and tore it down. … They thoroughly broke in pieces its altars and images, … And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD. … So all the people of the land rejoiced”

What legacy am I leaving for my children? One of the Lord God Almighty or not? Eternal life or eternal death? Or is it a mixture by which a half truth is really a full lie? What high places of sin are not torn down in me so that I cannot see it in my children? Luke 6:41-42

Lord, cleanse me more and cleanse my entire family so that we all stand in worship of You 24/7/365 no matter where we are!! May the people of my household rejoice in You, their Sovereign Lord Jesus Christ All Ways!!

2 Timothy 1              What has God given to me? To you? “the genuine faith…  the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

What MUST I do about it? “do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, … for the gospel according to the power of God, … Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, … according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began”

Why? Because “our Savior Jesus Christ, Who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,”

Resolutely I agree: “I am not ashamed, for I know Whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.”

How can I do this? “Hold fast the pattern of sound words”, most specifically the Word of God.

It is impossible to live for the Lord God Almighty, the God of the Old and New Testaments, unless I am filled with His Holy Spirit. (Acts 4:31, Romans 15:13, Acts 13:52, Ephesians 5:18, John 15:26, John 16:13, Psalm 31:5, John 4:24)

Furthermore, I can feel spurned by those who live in the “mixture” of lies and truth: compromised, rationalized and excused half-belief in the Word of God. (v. 12-14) Lord Jesus, please open the eyes of their heart to Your saving death. Cause in them a desperate need for Your cleansing Blood. Make them aware that nothing else will suffice the wrath of God. (Romans 1:18, Romans 2:5, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, John 3:36, 1 Peter 1:17-21)

Hosea 2         Just like we read in the 2 Kings 10-11, the Lord God is Jealous (Exodus 34:14) for us, His people. Being double minded, unfaithful and hard hearted is unacceptable within the Covenant of Love we have by the Lord Jesus Christ (1 John 4:10).

The Lord God shows us mercy by revealing to us who we are and how we are compared to His Holiness, and then by doing something for us that we cannot do for ourselves.

Hosea 2:        Mercy is shown. … Bring charges against… Let her put away her harlotries from her sight, … And expose her, … her children, For they are the children of harlotry. … behaved shamefully.

I will hedge up your way with thorns,  And wall her in, Then she will say, ‘ I will go and return to my first husband,’

Now I will uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers,  And no one shall deliver her from My hand. I will also cause all her mirth to cease, …I will punish her For the days of the Baals to which she burned incense. … But Me she forgot,” says the LORD.

The Lord God is a Jealous God – Who loves us for our own benefit!

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her. …  She shall sing there, As in the days of her youth,… “And it shall be, in that day,”  Says the LORD, “That you will call Me ‘My Husband,’ And no longer call Me ‘My Master,’ For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, And they shall be remembered by their name no more. In that day I will make a covenant ….”

“I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy; I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the LORD. And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’”

Psalm 119:97-120               To You, my Sovereign Lord and God!  May my heart speak this to You with no falsehood or hidden sin:

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.

I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your Word.
For You Yourself have taught me. How sweet are Your Words to my taste,
Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Therefore I hate every false way.

I am afflicted very much; Revive me, O LORD, according to Your Word.

The wicked have laid a snare for me, Yet I have not strayed from Your precepts.
Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart..

I hate the double-minded, But I love Your law.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your Word.
Depart from me, you evildoers,…

You reject all those who stray from Your statutes, or their deceit is falsehood.
My flesh trembles for fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments.

How I praise You my Creator, Redeemer, Lord and Father!

1 Samuel 12 and Jeremiah 49                    Lord God Almighty, over and over again You show me to fear You and walk in Your ways. If I heed, then even the authorities over me will be amenable to me. If I do not, I lose favor. Then I incur Your rod of correction. But even in placid times You are disciplining me, teaching, refining, and reshaping me more into Your image is Your desire. Thank You, no matter how painful it is and in so many ways! (1 Samuel 12:14-15, 24-25)

Please make me and others deeply aware that You are the One to fear! Not man, and to not be hungering after some “ideal” that the world “sells”. Please have the leaders of this nation bow down to You, the True King of kings and Lord of lords!! Help me and each of us to repent to You, to turn from our wicked ways, seeking Your Face and serving You with all our heart so that You will forgive our sin and heal us in so many intricate ways!! (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Romans 10               Salvation – Saved from what? Saved from the wrath of God both here and now, and forever and ever in Hell. Oh what torture it is to endure utter darkness, complete consciousness of evil all around and within you, to experience the depths of despair forever without hope, having endless shame and guilt, and in utter pain, agony, vast loneliness and screams of terror – eternally in hell. And the contrast is complete Joy, Hope, True Peace and Security, and personal value and integrity right now and forever in Heaven with a God Who is Pure Love and Truth!

This is the choice You offered me, Almighty One so many years ago. Thank You for the choice to choose You!! Yes, my Sovereign Savior!! I am deeply and joyfully grateful! But what about Israel? Please send workers in their fields! (v. 14-15) Show to them that their Messiah came and still lives to intercede for them! (Hebrews 7:25) Have Israel and all gentiles submit to You for Your Righteousness to live through each of them. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. … 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Lord Jesus Christ, may my life provoke to jealousy those who do not know You, causing them to seek You and be saved from “soul torment” here and later. Please continue: “21 All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people.” until they all come to be saved from Hell and to live right now to give You glory, worshipping You in Spirit and in Truth!

Psalm 26 and Psalm 27                 The Blood of Jesus vindicates!! The Blood Atonement frees me from guilt, shame, sin, and condemnation. (2 Cor 5:17, Romans 8:1-2, 1 John 4:10) I cannot take the punishment for myself and still go to heaven, for hell is the payment and the charge is endless, thus permanent. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23) But the sinless Jesus Christ, the Son of God, can and does take the punishment for each person who desires that with all of their soul and who lives for Him intentionally, by His Holy Spirit and Word.

Psalm 26                 “Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes,” v.2-3  Have me walk in Your Truth ceaselessly.

“I have hated the assembly of evildoers.”  I rejoice to “proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works.” Thank you for “Redeeming and being merciful to me.” V. 5,7,11

Psalm 27                   “The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?  The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” v.1 No one should I fear but You, for You are my Owner and Creator, The Sovereign Ruler over all!! I praise and rejoice in Your Justice and Temperament!! Patient, slow to anger, and persevering in changing me into the vessel You choose!!  (Deuteronomy 32:4, Psalm 103:8, 2 Peter 3:9, Isaiah 29:16, Isaiah 64:8, Jeremiah 18:6, Romans 9:21 )

“One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.” You Lord, dwell within me. You have given me Your Holy Spirit – the Counselor, Teacher, Comforter and so much more!! (1 Corinthians 6:19) That is the desire of my heart! (Psalm 37:4)

When I am distressed, I hide in Your Word, as if within Your Priestly robes, that I might know nothing with certainty but You (1 Corinthians 2:2). In this way I am kept safe in my mind, emotions and actions. V.5   “O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me.” v. 9-10  Jesus, You never abandon me, not emotionally, mentally or in any way!! Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5, Isaiah 49:15

“Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Teach me Your way, O LORD, Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries” v.6,11-12

I shall heed with my heart and encourage others to:  “Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!” V.14

Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ!!
