Numbers 34             Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Command the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall fall to you as an inheritance—the land of Canaan to its boundaries.’ These are the ones the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance among the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. V.1-2,29

The Lord God, the only Owner of all, has the authority and exercises His authority in giving inheritance to whomever He chooses. God’s commands are specific in detail. Who am I to not obey Him in using His gifts? How do ignore His spiritual, physical and intellectual gifts and not use them for His designed purpose and glory? When do I ignore the responsibility He has given me?  Where is the territory God has entrusted me to “rule” under His authority by the Word of God and His Holy Spirit? Do I hold myself and those assigned to me, such as my children, family, friends, neighbors, everyone I encounter, so to see, sense and be drawn to the Love of God by His Son Jesus Christ in order for their eventual surrender to follow the Lord Jesus? Do I live and speak the Word of God in love? How often do I pray for them? Lord, thank You for trusting me. Help me to honor You more.

Psalm 78:38-72                   But He (Lord God), being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them.  …  How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert!  They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy, … For they provoked Him to anger with their high places, And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images. When God heard this, He was furious, And greatly abhorred Israel, …  He also gave His people over to the sword, And was furious with His inheritance. … He put them to a perpetual reproach.

Lord God, I am grateful that Your mercies are new every morning. That You forgive my iniquities as quickly as I repent to You. Thank You for Your mercy on those who have not yet repented to You, by Your patience for them to come to You before their time here on earth is over. Hebrews 9:27, 2 Peter 3:9

But chose the tribe of Judah, …He also chose David His servant, … To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance. So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Lord God, You sent Your one and only Son Jesus to be born of the line of King David, of Judah to shepherd Your people! Thank You merciful King of kings! John 10

Isaiah 26        You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

As I see destruction around me, God’s judgment for rebellion, my heart and mind are safe because I trust in You, Lord God. Proverbs  3:4-6   Your love for me compels me to love them all.

            The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You. … With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early;

My soul grieves for the unrepentant –

Let grace be shown to the wicked, Yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, And will not behold the majesty of the Lord.

1 John 4                    Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God … Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

The culture these days is wrought with deceiving spirits. May I cling to Your Word (Romans 12:1-2) in my mind and heart to abide in You Lord God. John 15

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

I rejoice in this!!

God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. … There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.  We love Him because He first loved us.

I continue to proclaim, to serve, to pray. It is endless: the work and love that is involved in being humble under You King of kings! Yet You refresh me by the fellowship with Your children! The mind of Christ Jesus is powerful within them! Thank You Lord God for Your Son and all His people!

You are of God, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than He Who is in the world.   By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Ezekiel 45, 46; 1 John 2

“‘A Message from God, the Master: If the prince deeds a gift from his inheritance to one of his sons, it stays in the family. But if he deeds a gift from his inheritance to a servant, the servant keeps it only until the year of liberation (the Jubilee year). After that, it comes back to the prince. His inheritance is only for his sons. It stays in the family.’” Ezekiel 46:16-17 MSG

When I was born into this earth, I was given gifts of God because He died for me while I was still a sinner. He offered me grace. I didn’t recognize its worth. I took advantage of it, used it, and thrust it back in His face. It was mine to use, but only while alive in this realm. This gift of unmerited favor was never fully mine.

And then, I was reborn into His Spirit. I became His child and He offered His grace again. I accepted His gift and I was given an inheritance I will never have to return. It is mine for eternity because I am a part of the family.

Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity. 1 John 2:15-17 MSG

The enemy doesn’t want me to walk in God’s grace, even though it is now my birthright. He does everything he can to try to take it away from me. He tempts me with worldly things and lures me into wrong thinking. He invites me to turn my back on my Father, believing that if I do, my inheritance is lost.

Sometimes I trip and fall, but like the prodigal son discovered, my Father will never leave me nor forsake me. Even though I may have run away in sin, when I face Him again with repentance and humility, I am welcomed with open arms and great joy. My position as daughter is redeemed and my inheritance is restored to me.

I am a coheir with Christ. I am a daughter of the King by spiritual birth. I am a princess. I am no longer a servant. When I stepped into the role of sonship, by believing in my heart and confessing with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, I stepped into a new set of rules, the new covenant. When I was a servant I was bound in sin; I had to work to prove my value. Now, as an heir, my value lies in the priceless blood of Jesus. I am forever accepted. My inheritance is eternal grace.

Stay with what you heard from the beginning, the original message. Let it sink into your life. If what you heard from the beginning lives deeply in you, you will live deeply in both Son and Father. This is exactly what Christ promised: eternal life, real life!  1 John 2:24-25 MSG

Deuteronomy 17-19, Luke 5:17-39

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him. I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name. Deuteronomy 18:18-19

Jesus gave up his power as the King of the Universe to become human like me. According to the law, a king was not to consider himself better than his subjects. Jesus had neither wives nor gold, but he offers me a refuge, a fortress from the ills of sin.

Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” Luke 5:23-24

The Pharisees thought that Jesus blasphemed when he claimed his authority. Jesus – a case too convoluted for the Roman court to figure out went to the High Priest. The mob wanted to crucify the King of the Jews. Rather than save himself from death, Jesus yielded to the will of his Father.

Everyday I take charge of my own little kingdom, following God by the laws written on my heart.

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First, he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds. Hebrews10:14-16

Bible study and memorization keep His words in my mind. The prayers of faithful friends accomplish much to keep me on the right path. The Holy Spirit reminds me that though I am a member of the royal priesthood, it’s a large body with many parts.

Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Rev 1:5-6

The Lord is my inheritance just as He was for the Levites.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you. 1 Peter 1:3-4

Numbers 17, Numbers 18, Numbers 19, Mark 15:1-25

Read at –   http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Numbers%2017,18,19;%20Mk%2015:1-25&version=NKJV

Numbers 17:5          It shall be that the rod of the man whom I choose will blossom; thus I will rid Myself of the complaints of the children of Israel, which they make  … behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds. … , “Bring Aaron’s rod back before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put their complaints away from Me, lest they die.”

The Sin of Complaining is so serious that God had to physically demonstrate to His people that He deemed to “put their complaints away from Me, lest they die.” God calls those who complain “rebels”.

Am I living in rebellion against God? Hhhhhmmmmm…… NO wonder I need the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ!!

How many thoughtless complaints do I think or mutter about the temporal without a thought to the eternal repercussions? Who is listening to me? Why do I put forth such effort when God gives me His remedy for my healthy psychology and productive spiritual life? Philippians 4:4-9, 19-20

Numbers 18             The Lord said to Aaron: “You …shall bear the iniquity related to the sanctuary, and … associated with your priesthood.  …  I am your portion and your inheritance.”

Numbers 19  a red heifer without blemish, …  it is for purifying from sin.

“For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy.” The Lord God Almighty instructed the priesthood regarding removing iniquities and giving them the highest reward, Himself for their portion and inheritance.

Leviticus 11:44-45; Leviticus 19:2; Leviticus 20:7; Numbers 15:40

God does not change and neither does His Word. Malachi 3:6, Matthew 24:35

Lord, these days I find myself praying harder and deeper than ever before. It seems that as I breathe, I grieve. I don’t know what You are doing in the heavenlies or what is going to happen here on earth, but the sin is escalating, the venom of people against You in governments is increasing, Oh…. You have me praying in ways I don’t even know. Thank You for not having me complain, for that does NO GOOD. In fact, when I have done that, I promote the problem instead of praying Your Word for Your purposeful, effective change for Your glory alone!

Please move the hearts of Your people to pray without ceasing, to storm Your Throne, going to our Royal High Priest Jesus to change the spiritual climate, to make us holy as You are holy, to be fruitful in the Holy Spirit now and until You return.

I am sick inside. The pain moves me to be surrendered to serve You wherever You place me. Please Lord Jesus, send many of Your workers. Convict us who are called by Your Name to confess You, Jesus, as Lord, to repent, to worship You and testify of You, the only Sovereign God.

Romans 8:28; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Romans 12:1-2; Proverbs 9:10

Mark 15:1-25                        Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered and said to him, “It is as you say.” … “What then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?” So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!” … Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.

This Jesus is our High Priest Who took upon Himself the sins of the people away from the Lord God Almighty, and purified us who believe and live surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

I praise and thank you Lord Jesus Christ for Your courageous victory over sin and death out of immeasurable love for me! Please continue changing me more into Your image so many people will see You, and then surrender, love, obey and worship You now and forever! I yearn to see Your Glory here on earth as it is in Heaven!! Magnify Yourself through Your children Lord Jesus! Amen!!

Numbers 23, Psalm 64 and 65, Isaiah 13, 1 Peter 1

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”  Numbers 23:19

They devise iniquities, … But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenly they shall be wounded. Psalm 64:6-7

Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, … By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, Psalm 65:4-5

~ I pray for Your Love in my heart, Your Word in my spirit, and obedience to You in my soul.~

Numbers 23

27 Then Balak said to Balaam, “Please come, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

King Balak tried to manipulate God to curse God’s own people by using God’s prophet Balaam. It backfired! Only the Lord God has the Sovereign Right. No one can manipulate the Holy Omniscient Omnipotent One!  8 “How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced?”

God’s reply to the earthly king was, “Rise up, Balak, and hear! “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” … “He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him,”  v.18-21

Oh Sovereign Lord God, may I never curse those who are the apple of Your eye! Keep me from willful and unconscious sins against Your chosen. Keep my mind, mouth and attitudes pure by Your Holy Spirit and Word!

Father, thank You for Your faithful protection for me and all of us who walk by Your Spirit following You!! No one can effectively curse or condemn us (Romans 8:1). What a freedom of Love to be Your child through Your Son Jesus Christ!!

Lord God, please bring more people to Yourself so that this world would reflect Your kingdom in heaven ever increasingly! I want to see Your Glory!!

Psalm 64

Lord God, the wicked abound, but greater are You Who is in Your adopted children! Let me never fear of what man can do but fear You, the Almighty. The workers of iniquity plot evil blindly. The world’s news reports it without restraint. But Your judgment and condemnation on them is swift (v.7-9) and permanent. Lord God have mercy on them just as You have had it on me! Please open their eyes, mind and heart to Truth, to You before it is too late for each of them. Please change them into New Creatures by Your Word and Holy Spirit! I am at peace trusting in You Lord, eager seeing Your Glory!

Psalm 65

You Do so Much all the time!! Lord God, You are active in all areas of Life and Throughout the earth! The Lord God Almighty loves No matter what, faithful to provide, giving people free invitation to choose Him by displaying His Awesome Character incessantly!! Romans 1:20    There is no mother nature, but only God the Creator. All peoples, Your children and foes (Romans 5:10), receive Your benefits through nature.

Lord God Almighty YOU: hear prayer, call flesh to come to Yourself, provide atonement, choose and cause people to approach You, answer us and save from hell, established the mountains, are clothed with power; still the noise of the seas and the tumult of the peoples, make the outgoings of the morning and evening rejoice, visit the earth and water it, greatly enrich it; provide the grain, have prepared it, water its ridges abundantly, settle its furrows, make it soft with showers, bless its growth, and crown the year with Your goodness. Thank You!! I rejoice in Your gifts! But I cherish You my Giver!!

 Isaiah 13

Oh Holy God, those who cursed Your people You now curse, Numbers 23. Just as good and kind as You show Yourself in Psalm 65, are You harsh and merciless in Isaiah 13. And Why? Because after all Your kindness and grace, the wicked still choose to NOT surrender their heart, will and minds to You, their Creator and God. Deuteronomy 28

Behold, the day of the LORD comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, “I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”  Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, And they will be afraid. Isaiah 13

Lord God Almighty, Your wrath is certain. Your day of destruction is sure. No one can hide from Your mighty arm unless they hide beneath the Priestly garments of Your Holy Son Jesus. No one can escape Your fierce wrath in their soul or outside except by surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and asking to be covered by the Atonement Blood of Jesus Christ.

 Matthew 27:50-54, Hebrews 6:19-20, Hebrews 7:20-28, Hebrews 12:24, Hebrews 13:20-21, 1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 1:7, Revelation 5:9-10

1 Peter 1

The Great News!! God protects His Own people from His Own wrath! The elected by God the Father are sprinkled by the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus Christ and sanctified by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of obedience to the Lord God Almighty!

We are given “an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven” for those in Christ Jesus.  We “rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.” We have “a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

So what are we to do about this now? While we wait for heaven? Be sober minded, and obedient to the living God Who transformed us and saved us from hell. I am not to conform myself to my former lusts but be holy as God is Holy! God will judge me according to my work with Him and without Him. I am to live in fear and love of the Lord Jesus Christ. I must obey the Truth through the Spirit in sincere love, fervently and with a pure heart.

I have my marching orders: Blessed to be a blessing. I am protected in order to obey God’s Word and God’s will. Earth is not a playground, but the war zone. No where else do curses and blessings mix together on the same playing field!! After this life, there are only two places and the Deuteronomy 28 items do not intermingle. There is fixed a great chasm between hell and heaven. Luke 16:19-31  Hell is the cursing. Heaven is the blessing. Never the two shall meet. Matthew 13:36-43; Matthew 25; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21-22

Jesus Christ commands and compels me to pick up my cross, follow His marching orders, and be used by God to seek and save the lost. To be an ambassador for Christ, to snatch sinners from the fire just as I was rescued! Sitting around comfy and complacent does not bring God glory and perpetuates the evils within and around me. God’s heart IS in me. May it burn with desire and love for people to know, love and serve the living King Jesus Christ!! To be a vessel God uses to set captives free from being cursed.

 Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 19:10, 2 Corinthians 5:16-21, Jude 1:20-25, Matthew 25:14-30, Matthew 7:15-23, 2 Timothy 2:20-21, 2 Corinthians 4:7-11, Romans 9:19-21, Luke 8:16-18

Only two things are eternal here – the Word of God and people. I must live deliberately, Conscious of loving the First so that God can love the second well through me.
